I hit up Barcelona with my boy a couple weeks ago. I didn’t whip out my camera as often as usual given the abundance of lurking pick-pocketers, but I still grabbed a few shots here and there.
Good thing for the iPhone and Instagram or I would-a walked away with a measly couple of photos to remember our trip by. Anywho, besides the overwhelming amount of Gaudi-ness throughout the city, I honestly couldn’t quite figure out what else was actually unique about it. I suppose one could say Barcelona is known for its tapas and wine, so we gobbled that up. We also scrounged up some Valencian paella. My fav neighborhood was by far El Born, which ironically felt more like Italy to me than anything! Many bottles of wine, many (mini according to American standards) lattes, and a boatload of broken attempts at Catalan and Spanish… that about sums it up!
