Handmade mitts

Josie (my twin) is a craft guru. At any given moment, she has at least three different DIY projects in the works… from knitting and canning to jewelry-making and gardening. She is an active member on ravelry.com to curb her knitting obsession, and she is ramping up to blog about the ins and outs (stayed tuned for more on that). This afternoon, we snapped a few quick shots to showcase her latest. The mitts… er, fingerless gloves… were her very first sample as a test-knitter (more clearly labeled a “pattern-tester” for those who don’t know the knitting lingo), and the rick-rack cowl was a quick throw-together to occupy the time while flying a few months ago. Nice work, Rockstar Jo!
