The wedding of all weddings. 100% awesome attendees. A 1/2 marathon to start the day. The sweetest, most genuine and loving ceremony. Beautiful scenery. Delicious food. Stellar details. A killer dance party. And pure joy.
My long-time friend, Diane Dutcher, married the one and the only Jamie Bradley. One of the things that made this wedding so special was the personalization. The bride and groom themselves organized the details, and we all stepped in to help in various ways. A friend sewing napkins, and the boyfriend of a sister making place cards. Friends knitting the garter (Josie's post about that here) and making the signs (eh em, that would be Josie and moi). A mother and a sister arranging the flowers. Friends arranging chairs and setting tables, and a sister doing hair and makeup. A father officiating, a friend providing ceremony music, and bride and groom writing super sweet and personal vows. Friends and family giving heartfelt, funny, and sentimental readings, toasts, and speeches. "We are true" is how Diane and Jamie started each of their vows, and boy is that an understatement! With just about 40 of us in total that weekend at Abbey Road Farm, we bonded. We came together to truly celebrate the joining of two wonderful people's lives. I am so honored to have been part of such a special celebration, and I am happy to have captured bits and pieces of their day on camera.
