While I stayed in Régusse in a really lovely 17th century Provincial village house ( read about that glorious adventure here ), I had the chance to see the infamous turquoise waters of Lac de Sainte-Croix. The Lake of Sainte-Croix is a man-made lake surrounded by the picturesque hills of the Haut Var and Valensole. The lake itself actually engulfs the old village of Salles sur Verdon. Anyhow, it's a super touristy attraction, and we went right along with it and rented a little tiny boat to putter around in for a few hours. It really did make for a great memory!
