Savannah // Georgia

I spent two splendid evenings between Christmas and New Years Eve in Savannah, Georgia with my new beau. I have a total blast with Adam no matter where we happen to be, but Savannah really did serve as a delightful setting for exploring, eating, meandering, coffee drinking, and picture taking. It was just as quaint and charming as I have always heard! What can I say, I'm a sucker for the Spanish moss!

We stayed at the 1800s-era Savannah Bed & Breakfast Inn ( which I stumbled upon via an old Scoutmob Handpicked deal ). The BnB overlooks Chatham Square— one of the many picturesque squares in Savannah filled with gigantic trees, copious amounts of Spanish moss, and inviting park benches— and is filled with eclectic antiques and decorations. We frequented several coffee shops throughout our stay, and the clear winner in the competition for Adam and Abbie's Best Coffee in Savannah award was, without a doubt, The Coffee Fox. Foodwise, we hit up the Olde Pink House for its unique Southern dining experience, but my fav establishment for satisfying hungry was most definitely The Public Kitchen and Bar. The food was fresher and healthier, the atmosphere more on point with my style, and the service stellar. I definitely recommend it!

All in all, Savannah was a smash hit! Thanks for making it a memorable mini-vaca, Adam!
